Writing Workshop
Resume writing seminars help students develop resumes
to present to potential employers. These sessions are
usually held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 pm
to 1:00 pm.
Dining/Business
Etiquette Workshop
The Dining Etiquette Workshop is used to teach students
the proper dining techniques and business etiquette. This
workshop is held annually.
Myers-Briggs
Personality Workshop
The Myers-Briggs Personality Workshop assists students
with personality identification. This personality test
can also be used to determine if a student has chosen
the correct major according to his/her personality. These
workshops are held throughout the academic year.
Mock
Interview Workshops
Representatives from Fortune 500 companies, school systems,
government agencies, and state and local agencies are
invited to participate in conducting mock interviews with
Virginia Union University students. Professionals critique
the students and a follow-up session is done with each
student.
