Welcome
to the Sydney Lewis School of Business. Our mission
is to develop in students the intellectual and personal
attributes which will enable them to compete effectively
for leadership positions in business, industry, government,
and education. Our goal is to offer a course of study
which combines a basic education in the arts and sciences
with general and specialized training in business
techniques to prepare students to meet the present
and future challenges of a complex and dynamic business
world.
The Sydney Lewis School of Business offers top-quality
faculty, a dedicated business advisory council, student
and professional mentors, opportunities for students
to receive practical business experiences through
internships and cooperative programs with businesses,
industrial firms, government and nonprofit organizations.
The Sydney Lewis School of Business offers majors
in Accounting and Business Management. In addition,
the School cooperates with the School of Interdisciplinary
Studies (Elementary Education) in offering a major
in Business Education. The Accounting program is designed
to provide basic education necessary for careers in
private business, industry, government and public
accounting. The business management program prepares
students who are seeking careers as administrators,
executives, managers, or business proprietors. A Business
Education program prepares students to become qualified
to teach business subjects in secondary schools.
The Sydney Lewis School of Business faculty is committed
to promoting an academic environment that inspires
critical thinking, creativity, and sound ethical standard.
We invite you to become a part of our bright future.
Together we can make your dreams come true.
