Specialist
Virginia Union University invites
applications for the position of Data Entry Specialist
in the Office of Admissions. Virginia Union University
is a private historically black college and university
with an enrollment of approximately 1,500 students.
Residing in Division of Student Affairs, this position
reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions.
Responsibilities: Input all data for prospective
students; collect information and create permanent
record for each applicant; assist with recruiting
students to enroll at the university; review admissions
applications and make recommendations regarding student
acceptance. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills are required. Close working relationship with
students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the university
is expected. A high school diploma is required. A
bachelor’s or associates degree is preferred.
Experience working in a collegiate setting with
undergraduate students is desirable. Please send a copy
