City of Richmond Police Academy

City of Richmond Police Training Academy is one of the few in the United States associated with a private university. All training for the Richmond Police Department is conducted at this facility. Completed in 1992, through a unique partnership with Virginia Union University (VUU) and the Richmond Police, this facility also serves as the site for instruction for VUU’s Criminology/Criminal Justice academic department.
