STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

The Student Support Services Program, at Virginia Union University provides academic opportunities for students to be successful in their college careers.

 
The program assists students who have need for academic support and who are low-income, first-generation students or students with documented ADA disabilities to meet their educational and personal goals through academic co-advising, financial aid and career advising, workshops, tutoring, personal counseling, volunteer enrichment, educational support plans and cultural enrichment programs.
 
The purpose of the Student Support Program at VUU is to strengthen the likelihood of increased retention and graduation rates of the 140 project participants.
 
Student Support Services is a Title IV Grant Sponsored through the Department of Education.
