Below is some information that may be helpful to you in advising your students regarding Virginia Union’s application process. If you have any questions about the process or suggestions on what you would like to see added to this site, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please continue to encourage your students to perform well academically during their senior year. Habits established in the senior year of high school does impact the student's performance in their freshman year.

Dates and Deadlines:

The following dates and deadlines are important to remember when applying for admission to Virginia Union University. Although our freshman and transfer application deadlines are postmark deadlines, the Office of Admissions encourages students to submit their application as early as possible. The postmark deadlines are for the application and all corresponding material - transcripts,essay,etc.).

The fee of $25.00 applies to all applications (online or paper, freshman, transfer or international) and must be submitted with your application. The application deadline date for all U.S. applicants is:
Fall Term:       June 30th
Spring Term:  November 30th

To avoid mailing delays, non U.S. applicants should apply prior to:
Fall Term:       March 31st
Spring Term:  August 31st
