Hello, Classmates,

On Friday, October 17, 2008, the VUUNAA Awards Luncheon will be held at the Panther Grill from 12:30 to 2PM. At this luncheon the vivacious and dynamic VUU Class of 1964-68 will present its 40th Reunion monetary gift to Virginia Union University. Our gift goal is $40,000.

Attached is a letter (with an accompanying contribution form) from Jeff Humber, a member of the VUU Class of 1964-68 Fund Raising Committee. Please read the letter, then mail the form and your contribut to Vernon Gordon, treasurer of the VUU Class of 64-68 Steering Committee, by Monday, September 15, 2008. Our gift will enable some deserving young people to attain their goal of earning their collegiate diplomas from our cherished and revered Alma Mater, Virginia Union University. Please know that all you have done and all that you will do is deeply appreciated by your classmates and by Virginia Union University, our "nurturing mother."
