DISTINGUISHED VIRGINIA UNION ALUMNI
150TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION

PURPOSE  

As Virginia Union University prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, the University looks to recognize the achievements of its alumni who are leaders in many fields of endeavor.  Toward this end, Virginia Union University will publish a 150th anniversary edition of Distinguished Virginia Union Alumni.  The publication will recognize alumni who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments and careers have honored the University’s legacy of excellence and leadership.

CRITERIA

• At least 20 years of professional experience
• Outstanding success or recognition in chosen career, as exemplified by national, regional, or state prominence
• Involvement in civic, cultural, or charitable activities
• Received awards and honors for leadership and service to community or profession

NOMINATION PROCESS

• Complete nomination form found on VUU website
• Submit nomination form online below
• Persons to be included in the 150th Anniversary Edition of Virginia Union University Distinguished Alumni will be chosen by a selection committee comprised of Virginia Union University faculty, staff, and alumni
