ASISSTANT/ASSOCIATE
PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY
The
Department of Natural and Physical Sciences is seeking
for a full-time Chemistry faculty member. The candidate
must have a strong background in contemporary Physical
techniques and ability to commit and motivate students.
The candidate must exhibit a high degree of professionalism,
a strong commitment to students, and demonstrate the
ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.
Other duties will include advising/counseling students,
participating in scholarly activities, and serving on
department, school, and university committees.
Required
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry and an ability
to teach Analytical Chemistry will be desirable. Prior
undergraduate experience is required and to teach lectures
and laboratories for all areas of Physical and Analytical
Chemistry at the undergraduate level. Faculty members
are expected to serve on department, campus, and university-wide
committees. Candidate must be able to develop and maintain
funded training or research programs at the university.
