and Reference Information
Circulation Services
The
Circulation Desk is one of the busiest places in the library
as it serves as the first point of contact for many library
services. There are over 147,000 volumes available
for check out. Among these books is a comprehensive collection
by and about Africans and African Americans.
Materials
may be checked out for a loan period of two weeks with two
possible renewals. Overdue materials are subject to a ten
cent per day fine.
Users
must present valid identification for check-out privileges.
General
circulation of library materials will cease approximately
three weeks before the end of the semester in order to do
an inventory of library materials. Overnight or
24-hour check-out is available up until one week before
final examinations. Overnight check-out is at the
discretion of the Circulation staff.
