Media Center & Computer Labs

 The facilities in the Lab are for a wide range of electronic research uses including word processing, Internet access, online catalog.  Resources are provided in support of the University's curriculum.

Software for standard document preparation is maintained on each workstation. Users may not bring additional software products to install on the Library's computers. 
Printing services are available.  

Printing costs are $ .10 per page. 

All users are asked to comply with the University's Telecommunications Use Policy (posted on the Library's web page).   In addition, in order to ensure a proper study environment for all library patrons, there is no mobile phone use or eating or drinking in the computer lab.

Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 9:30 pm
Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Sunday 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm

The Media Center

The Media Center is available for faculty, students and staff to view and listen to materials in various formats in support of the University curricula.

The Computer Lab on the second floor of the L. Douglas Wilder Library, provides access to word processing for students.  A catalog of our collection can be reviewed for selection of both the VUU titles as well as the Richmond Academic Library Consortium (RALC) Film Cooperative titles that are shared with the academic institutions in the greater Richmond area by searching the RALC Union Catalog.

Media Center hours are 8:30-4:30 from Monday through Friday. Special services are scheduled by appointment. Please call (804) 257-5721 or 5690.
