Newman Hall, a women's residence hall, was named in honor of an outstanding alumna and educator in the Richmond Public Schools.

Newman Hall housed freshmen women and has exercise equipment in the basement.

The rooms in Newman are approximately 9'6"x13'4". Each room has

• 2 regular length twin beds
• 2 desks with chairs
• 1 dresser (although some rooms may have 2)
• 2 closets with mirrors attached
• 2 bulletin boards
• 2 sets of shelves
