of Counseling and Student Development
The
Counseling and Student Development Center was established
to assist Virginia Union University student in confronting
obstacles that interfere with academic, personal, and
social growth during and after matriculation. Primary
emphasis is on fostering the student's academic, intellectual,
social, emotional, and physical development through individual
and group counseling sessions and educational seminars.
Educational seminars are offered on such topics as conflict
and stress management, male and female relationships,
drugs and alcohol, and study skills.The Center also coordinates
support groups for specific subcultures, such as international
students, commuter students, and nontraditional students.

Monday
- 11am - 4pm
Tuesday - 9am - 4pm
Wednesday - 9am - 4pm
Thursday - 9am - 4pm
Friday - 9am - 2pm
*The
counselors are available at other times, by appointment.
