The Virginia Union University campus community has a responsibility to make decisions that keep our community safe during this time of national and cultural transition. This means we all have a mandate to follow the CDC's guidance related to managing our behavior during this global pandemic—for your health and for the health of those in our community, especially those who are most susceptible.

As such, on behalf of the Executive Leadership, the Staff Association, the Faculty Senate, and the Student Government Association, we are launching a series of conversations designed to:

  • provide an update on progress against the Fall Re-Open plan
  • discuss expectations as we transition to the end of the semester improving safety, communication, and technology

Maintaining our community's safety requires all of us to stay informed, follow guidance, and adapt behaviors. Every staff member, faculty member, and student is expected to participate in your designated Town Hall session. The university is using this format to provide ongoing communications about changing protocols, guidance, and procedures.
