Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement is responsible for maintaining and increasing strong financial support for the university. Before a gift to the University is received, it must be cleared through the Office of Institutional Advancement for acceptance, recording, acknowledgement, and for entry to the proper account(s). All gifts transmitted to members of either the faculty or administration officer. Restricted gifts will be used in the terms established by the donor. If a gift is deemed undesirable, the donor will be counseled to remove or modify the restrictions. VUU reserves the right to refuse any gift that is not consistent with its mission. The President will acknowledge all donors making gifts over $5,000 to the University. A copy of all acknowledgements will be filed with the Office of Institutional Advancement for appropriate follow-through.
