The Panther PALS Mentorship program is designed to support freshman students in exceeding academic goals during the transitional first year of college. The program provides a platform for Mentors and Mentees to frequently exchange dialogue about VUU campus life. The Mentorship program comprises the balance between academics, social, and personal avenues of discovery at Virginia Union University, while developing instrumental networks of excellence within the Lombardy Street campus. Mentors work eagerly and collaboratively with Mentees to achieve targeted academic and collegiate goals by promoting campus pride and cohesiveness among VUU students. PALS provide an environment that encourages active involvement in the academic and social life of the campus as well as opportunities for students to value the significance of academic accomplishments while creating their VUU Legacy.
