Panther Pipelines: Discovery Day is designed to highlight the research and creative inquiry activities of Virginia Union University's undergraduate students and university stakeholders (faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners). During this event, VUU undergraduate students will share their scholarly activities. Additionally, university stakeholders can publicize research or creative inquiry opportunities for students to pursue during the 2017-2018 academic year.
The 2017 Panther Pipelines: Discovery Day will be hosted on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the Claude G. Perkins Living and Learning Center.
VUU undergraduate students interested in presenting during Discovery Day should submit a poster using the “Discovery Day Poster Template” using our online application. All Fall 2017 Discovery Day submissions are due by 5pm on Monday, October 2, 2017.
Whether you completed a research/creative inquiry project over the summer or simply have an idea for a project, all VUU Undergraduate students are welcome to submit a poster for Discovery Day. Posters should include the following information (see the template for detailed instructions):

During our Panther Pipelines: Discovery Day event students are eligible for awards, to be used towards their research, for the best poster presentation. Students are judged based on the following criteria:
