We are not accepting any campus tours due to state restrictions issued by our Governor. We will resume in person tours following the Labor Day Holiday on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Until then please check out our Virtual Campus Tour!
Virginia Union University (VUU) offer the traditional campus visit with an informational session and a walking tour of campus. Register online prior to your visit, as some information sessions fill quickly and once seating capacity has been reached, the session will be closed. Please submit the Request a Tour Form. Group requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to requested visit date. Allow at least three business days for our office to respond to your Campus Visit Request. Please note requests are not confirmed until visiting party has received a confirmation email.

Listed below are a few suggestions to prepare you for scheduling a campus visit. Please review tips before submitting your request.
Tour activities are unavailable during holidays, semester breaks, final exam weeks , or spring break. Please confirm with the Office of Admissions prior to scheduling your tour at 804.342.3570.
Campus Tours are not available for the following dates: December 5th - January 15th, March 6th - March 17th, April 14th, May 29th, July 4th, September 4th.
Our tour times are at 3:00 PM for families and large groups on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
Schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance. Tour space can be limited, so you will want to have a few possible visit dates in mind before submitting your request.
If you are planning to visit more than one college campus, please be sure to allow enough time between visits.

Campus Map & Directions
From I-95 North (Washington, New York)/From I-64 West (Williamsburg, Virginia Beach)
1. Take Exit 78, Boulevard.
2. Bear right onto Hermitage.
3. Turn right on Brookland Parkway.
4. Turn right on Brook Road.
From I-95 South (Petersburg, North Carolina)/From I-64 East (Charlottesville)
1. Take Exit 78, Boulevard.
2. Turn left onto the Boulevard.
3. Follow steps 2-5 in the above directions.
Cars Only.
Turn right on Graham Road and left onto the main campus. Bear right around the buildings and continue to the Henderson Center Student and Visitor Parking Lot.
Passenger Vans and Large Buses.
Turn right onto Admiral Street. Enter the Hovey Field Parking Lot on right. Because group sizes vary, not all presentations will be conducted in the Admissions Conference Room of the Henderson Center. For this reason, we suggest that one representative report to the Admissions Office to receive further instructions. Please use the designated pedestrian walkway to access the Henderson Center.
