Miller & Stennis Named All-CIAA Cheerleaders

Virginia Union University's LeRiece Miller and Nandea Stennis have been named to the 2018-2019 All-CIAA Cheerleading Team the CIAA announced on Monday January 14, 2019.

Miller is a Junior from Danville, VA. majoring in Biology while Stennis is a Senior from Pascagoula, MS majoring in Social Work.

“Miller and Stennis serve as co-captains and role models to the other young ladies on the team,” said VUU Cheerleading Coach Valerie Briggs.  “Their leadership, dedication, and academic excellence in the classroom, community, during games and performances show that they are most deserving of this honor.”

Miller and Stennis will be recognized at Super Saturday of the CIAA Basketball Tournament in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday March 2, 2019, as part of the Cheerleading Exhibition.
