Redskins Training Camp Welcomes VUU Football

The Washington Redskins of the National Football League welcomed Virginia Union University Vice-President for Intercollegiate Athletics Joe Taylor along with the VUU athletic staff to their annual Training Camp on Tuesday, July 30, in Richmond, Va.

The event marked VUU Day at Redskins Park, with the VUU staff there for the 9:45 a.m. practice.

"We want to thank Redskins President Bruce Allen and General Manager Doug Williams for the invitation and hospitality," said Taylor.  The team looks to be very talented and excited about the upcoming season.  A good time was experienced by all who attended."

Virginia Union will kick off the 2019 season when the Panthers take on Hampton University at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7.
