Richmond, VA (August 4, 2025) — Virginia Union University is honored to host Robert F. Smith, renowned entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Founder, Chairman & CEO of Vista Equity Partners, for a public Fireside Chat on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 3:30 PM in the Living & Learning Center.
Open to the public, this impactful event will explore themes from Smith’s latest book, Lead Boldly: Seven Principles from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., highlighting how Dr. King’s most powerful speeches—on The Beloved Community, Two Americas, and economic justice—shaped Smith’s path as a leader and change-maker.
