Starling Collects Fourth Rookie of the Week Award

Virginia Union University's Jada Starling has been named the CIAA Volleyball Rookie of the Week, the CIAA announced on Thursday, October 25.

This is the fourth time Starling has been the Rookie of the Week.

Starling, a freshman outside hitter from Dallas, Tex., had 24 kills in four matches this past week. The Lady Panthers won three our of four matches and are now in second place in the Northern Division of the CIAA.

Virginia Union will face Elizabeth City State University on Senior Night at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
