Virginia Union University Welcomes Marcus Majette as Director of Client Services

[RICHMOND - July 22, 2022] — Virginia Union University is announcing new leaders in its academic and administrative teams.

Marcus Majette serves as the Director of Client Services at VUU. Majette has over 15 years of professional experience in Information Technology. He previously led as the Director of Information Technology at Clinton College. In this role, he oversaw technology operations in alignment with the university's strategic goals. His expansive knowledge of security technologies, operating systems, and software has generated efficiency among working teams, which resulted in innovative solutions for various organizations.  

Additionally, Majette served roles with Apple Inc. and Microsoft Inc. He is A+ certified and certified in Network Security.

Majette earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Majette is excited about his role at Virginia Union University and looks forward to helping this outstanding institution become the leading university in technology and develop its thriving student body.
