Virginia Union University Women's Tennis Team Wins Season Opener

On Friday,March 9th, 2018, the Virginia Union University women's tennis team opened the season against Elizabeth City State University.

The Lady Panthers pulled out a 6-3 victory over  the ECSU Vikings. Sabrina Connor, Kyra Smylie, Michela Mondesir, and Logan Reid pulled out doubles wins.

Connor, Reid, Zsakee Crocker, and Mondesire also posted wins in singles competition.

VUU now travels to Elizabeth City, N.C., to face Elizabeth City State University on March 10-11 in the ECSU Round-Up.
