VUU to Face Johnson C. Smith in CIAA Tennis Tournament Opener

Virginia Union University’s tennis team will begin play on Thursday, May 2, in the CIAA Tennis Championships at the Bowie State University Tennis Complex in Bowie, Md.

The Panthers will take on Johnson C. Smith University in the opening round, which will begin will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Teams advancing to Friday's semi-final rounds will begin play at 10:00 a.m. (ET).  Finals action is slated for 12:00 noon. on Saturday, May 4, with the awards ceremony immediately following the last match.  The winner will represent the CIAA in the NCAA regional, with the NCAA DII finals taking place May 22-25, in Almonte Springs, Florida.
