Abstract:    Robert Deane Pharr (1916-1992) was born in Richmond VA, and lived most of his adult life in New York. He was the author of five published novels: The Book of Numbers (1969), S.R.O. (1971), The Welfare Bitch, The Soul Murder Case : A Confession of the Victim (1975), and Giveadamn Brown (1978).
