Post-Award Management

The Post-Award office is responsible for the management of all grants and contracts received on behalf of the University. The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research offers the following services:

  • Coordinates post-award implementation meeting
  • Reviews grant award notifications and contracts to ensure compliance with funding agencies
  • Reviews correspondence from funding agencies and disseminate information accordingly
  • Assists Sponsored Research and Programs Director with administrative duties
  • Liaison for grant awardees and post-award accounting in Business Affairs
  • Generates weekly burn rates for internal reporting
  • Prepares sponsored project activity reports for funding agencies
  • Maintains grant and contract documentation
  • Monitors close out reporting
