Overview
Wii-TAP (Women in Intentional Training as Pastors) is an initiative of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology designed to give focused and structured attention on training and supporting women who desire and seek to serve as Senior Pastors. The vision of Wii-TAP is to provide an intentional training program for women who have acknowledged a call to the pastoral ministry. Wii-TAP is designed to provide a safe, bold, and intentional space where these gifted and called women can be trained and supported in their call to pastor and given opportunities to serve churches. Wii-TAP is a two-year program for a designated cohort of women who desire and seek to serve as Senior Pastors. The program timeframe is structured to allow time for the women to serve in a pastoral role and to then be certified by the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology as qualified to serve churches as an Interim Pastor, Associate Pastor, and/or Senior Pastor.
