The Office of Workforce Development & Training enhances career pathways and access to opportunities (internships) that will lead to gainful employment and reduction/elimination of student debt.
Our goal is to have 100% of the student body engaged in an internship that will develop the required skills to prepare students to become gainfully employed.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, high-quality, liberal arts education, in a student-centered environment.
As you continue to support our students, our staff will work to ensure the quality of the program that will reduce and assist with deleting individual financial debts.
Due to the continued and ever increasing threats related to the novel coronavirus that causes the COVID-19 disease, Virginia Union University (VUU) is postponing its 2020 Spring University Career Fair until a later date as a precautionary measure to help protect the health, well-being and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community partners.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are exploring not only a new date, but also virtual avenues to facilitate the fair. Once again, thank you for partnering with VUU, and we hope that you remain safe and healthy during this time. For additional recruiting opportunities and reimbursement concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (804) 257-5888, (804) 318-4110 or (804) 901-1252.
